The main differences are the printhead and full color 3D printing capability. The Standard version uses the F1080 printhead and is ideal for individual creators, light customization, and everyday UV printing. The Pro version uses the i3200 printhead, delivering higher speed, higher throughput, and support for Full Color 3D Printing, making it better suited for frequent use, small-batch orders, and light commercial production. The F1080 printhead can also be upgraded to the i3200 later, giving you a flexible path to higher performance.

¶ 7.1 Who is Morpho UV Printer for?

¶ 7.2 What materials can it print on?
Typical materials include acrylic, glass, metal, ceramic, wood, leather, TPU, film-like materials, dark plastics, phone cases, earbud cases, business cards, badges, golf balls, and other small objects. Adhesion, color performance, and wear resistance depend on surface condition, pretreatment, ink, and curing settings. Sample testing is recommended before production.

Yes, as part of rotary printing. The rotary system can be used for cylindrical objects such as large cups, Stanley-style handled cups, and bottles. Handles do not create a measurement problem; the system includes laser detection for printhead collision prevention and can automatically avoid handles during full-wrap printing. The actual printable area still depends on the rotary fixture, cup shape, handle position, and artwork layout.

Morpho does not require users to add separate cleaning liquid or moisturizing liquid for daily use because it does not rely on the traditional maintenance cycle of draining UV ink, flushing with cleaning liquid, storing the printhead with moisturizing liquid, and then switching back to ink.
Instead, Morpho combines its EcoInk formulation with built-in maintenance routines such as automatic white-ink stirring and circulation, scheduled nozzle flashing, and printhead temperature management. As long as the printer stays powered on, the system helps maintain the ink path and keep white ink active, reducing settling, clogging risk, and unnecessary liquid switching. ¶ 7.5 Does 60 mm embossment mean full 3D printing?
No. The comparison chart lists Morpho's Max Embossment Height as 60 mm, but that does not mean every artwork, material, and mode should be printed at 60 mm, and it should not be treated as the build height of a full 3D printer. Regular relief effect is currently limited to 5 mm; higher stacking and full-color 3D printing depend on slicing software, support materials, specialty inks, and a more complete process workflow.
¶ 7.6 Is Morpho a full 3D printer?
Morpho is first a UV printing platform. Its core strengths are color UV printing, white ink, varnish, texture, embossed effects, material adaptation, and an open ecosystem. It can create raised textures and some lightweight three-dimensional effects through layered build-up. For full-color 3D printing system, it is supported in Open ink system and morpho will provide slicing software for full-color system.

UV DTF is a supported direction. Morpho has a roll-to-roll attachment for direct UV DTF printing.

UV printing and curing may produce odor. Morpho uses Greenguard Gold certified low-VOC UV ink which has much lower tvoc and odor compared with orhter brand's ink. Morpho not only includes a built-in VOC filtration system, and an external exhaust system can further improve the odor experience. Still it should not be described as completely odor-free. Use the printer in a well-ventilated environment and handle uncured ink and cleaning materials according to consumable instructions.
